Event Description:   

This is the 1st of two signature events by The Book Bank Foundation (BBF).  The BBF board and advisors select key individuals that have made great strides improving the community and in theirrespective fields and  recognizes them with The Book Bank Foundation’s Hero Award.  The recipients generally share our foundation’s mission, principles, and passion for helping others.  The event includes an award ceremony with cocktail reception.

Location: The bus will depart from 203-01 Hollis Avenue, Queens, NY 11423 @ 10:00 am.  Please arrive no later than 9:30 am.

Event Description:  

This is the 2nd of two signature events by The Book Bank Foundation.  Each year, the Book Bank Foundation’s Shelter fromthe Streets is focused on delivering donated items to the homeless and underprivileged during the Holiday Season. Volunteers travel via charter bus to each location visiting shelters in four of New York City’s boroughs (Brooklyn,

Bronx, Queens, New York City) and then on city streets to give away donated items of winter clothing, blankets, personal products and toys.

For this event, bus tickets are sold for $40 to volunteers and mini sponsors to join the BBF in their fight to help bring hope to those who need it.   Every ticket holder receives a BBF T-shirt. All proceeds benefit The Book Bank Foundation.

Event Description:  

Every year on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, The Book Bank Foundation (BBF) members and volunteers join together to give away clothing and food donations, as well as, serve food to localshelter.  This year’s partnership will visit four shelters in Atlanta - Midtown Men's Task Force, Atlanta Day Shelter for Woman and Children, Atlanta’s Children Shelter & the UnionMission.  Volunteers travel to each location visiting shelters, dispersing donations and serve the hungry. For this event, volunteers, donations and event sponsors  are needed to join the BBF in their fight to help bring hope to those who need it. All proceeds benefit The Book Bank Foundation.
